I definitely got great value for my money at Roc Meler. The room was spotlessly clean with a nice view over the valley. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, especially in the restaurant and Irish pub. The location was perfect, and the pool and spa were lovely amenities.

The breakfast selection could have been improved by having hotter plates for the hot food section.

The room was new-fashioned and light with smoke detectors for safety measures. An electronic key card, a work desk and a TV were a very nice touch:)))

We got a fantastic bargain thanks to Booked.net - just 20€ each half board. The evening buffet was excellent - plenty of choice, the breakfast buffet was just a bit lacking but was ok. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was very well decorated - particularly their Irish Bar - and we enjoyed sitting on the terrace looking at the fantastic view. Carparking is advertised at nearly 19€ per day but at reception they said it was now only 5€ - we actually just parked on the road for free but this is probably not possible in winter (and maybe they do charge 19€ then too!)

Being super-critical but the pool/relaxing area were a bit too chilly to be relaxing (in our opinion). Jacuzzi/Sauna were perfect though, shame the steam room was out of service for a couple of days but entrance was only 3€ each (and they actually only charged us once out of the three times we went in!!). We couldn´t change the temperature in the room (there was a thermostat but it didn´t do anything) - it was just a little bit warm and stuffy for us so we had to keep the window open.

The room was modern and bright, with ample storage space and two TVs.

The apartment was of the right size - clean and the location was nice and peaceful.

The only english channels on TV were BBC and CNN with poor picture quality. The furniture was a bit run down. Also they claim to have a gym but this is very poorly equipped and they have an additional charge for the use of gym, pool etc which was not listed on the site

The venue was perfect, I thoroughly enjoyed the stay. the location was exceptionally nice, near the mountain, the valley, and the city center. - the beds were very clean. - the room was modern with very comfortable beds. - the staff were all service-oriented and amiable. - the food was good. - I have nothing but very relaxing memories from this trip.

Overrated 4* hotel when only based on spa facilities: additional charge 18e per person/day to enter overcrowded noisy spa and pool

Good and honest apartments, comfortable enough for a self-catering winter vacation. Despite being a little away (1,5km) from the Canillo gondola there is always a free transfer available, provided by the hotel. The staff was helpful and very informative.

The lack of outside parking spots has forced us to use the hotel's garage which costs 10€ per night.

The hotel is just a short walk to Soldeu, which has apres ski and activities nearby. the staff members are friendly and the breakfast selection is excellent with plenty of food available.

When I am in Canillo, I like staying here. Clean and PERFECT place, has great views over the mountains. The staff are extremely friendly. The room is modern and light and with tea-making facilities, a kettle and 2 TVs.

Family-Friendly Atmosphere 🏡

Stayed at this place for a quick 3-night getaway with my family. We all had a great time and felt right at home with the cozy and family-friendly atmosphere. I really enjoyed my time here.
